Surgery... again!

Well hello world! Today I'm laying in bed enjoying some much needed time off from life. I wish it weren't due to the ankle surgery I had Monday, but I'll take what I can get.
This semester at school went well... I didn't manage to keep a 4.0, but I did manage a 3.87. Not my best ever, but I could have done much worse. I only got 1 "b" and the rest were "a"'s. I know I should just be happy and not mopey... I applied for a scholarship for next semester and should find out in a few days if I received that or not... it could cover up to 75% of my tuition so I really hope I get it.
I'm flying home next week to spend a week and a half with my lovely family. Beth and Mike will be there, though, I do get to see them quite a bit as it is. But I'll get to be with their cute little Becca on her birthday, which will be a first for me. I'm super excited to get to see Gabe and Katie and their cute little family. I haven't seen any of them for a year and a half, so I'm really looking forward to that. AND I can't wait to see Katie with a cute little baby belly... I really can't wait til April when little Helen Novak will get to join the precious family. Plus we'll also get to celebrate Gabe and Jacqualine's birthday while we're all together. Oh, it's going to be a great trip home!!!
