Now for nonmembers this is a celebration of legally being able to drink, but for me it has a few bittersweet gifts to offer.
It means saying goodbye to this little man for a while...
It means leaving this school for a few semesters...
It means getting to go to a House of The Lord like this one and make eternal covenants...
But I'm most excited about this gift...
Once I have withdrawn from my classes and kissed that little man goodbye... once I have been to the temple and been set apart I'll get to put on a name tag just like this one that says, "Sister Novak." Once that name tag adorns my shirt I will get to go out as a messenger and proclaim the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Like I said I have a pretty special birthday around the corner! {I start my papers in 2 1/2 weeks}
